Since May 2006, Bikash Kumar Koirala has been working in Equal Access Nepal (EAN). He is resident of Lahan Bazaar, Siraha, Nepal and has completed a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal (2007). He has eight years of experience in various forms of community development works like communication for social change, poverty alleviation, employment and savings programs. Currently in EAN, he is responsible for designing projects plan and monitoring and evaluation system. He is highly competent in using Ethnographic Action Research (a participatory, holistic approach to improving and evaluating development communication and community media initiatives). He has been doing program coordination, community needs assessments, research and evaluation (mixed methods), data analysis and presenting results to staff and stakeholders. He is skillful in capacity building, motivating and mentoring staffs and facilitating community members.
