Hemant Pathak - Program Manager
Hemant Pathak, a master’s degree graduate in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi joined Equal Access effective from August 2nd 2010. His core expertise lies in research and development in the field of social sciences and development. His past experiences are more on electoral assistance, development sector, political analysis, research and development. He has been in the development sector since 2007 and has more experience on planning, managing and implementation of programmes, conducting trainings, analyzing voluminous quantitative data and writing reports. His past research has been on social impacts of women inmates, implication of Basel Norms, youth unemployment in India and many more. He has also written articles related to electoral assistance, political and election violence, federalism and constituent assembly.
As a programme manager, he is supporting programme areas related to youth life-skills, Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Inclusive Quality Education (IQE). He was born in Chitwan district on December 22nd, 1983 but acquired most of his qualification from Kathmandu and various cities of India in commerce and economics.
