Pavitra KC joined Equal Access Nepal in December 2009 as program associate and supported the radio content production of Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Education "Milijuli Sikhaun" for 39 episodes to local production in local language (Bhojpuri, Maithili, Awadhi, Bajika and Doteli). She has more than five years' experience in radio programming. Currently she leads the production of radio program named "Watabaran Ko Lagi Sangsangai" as program producer on the theme of Climate Change and REDD+ for 12 episodes.

As a Program Associate in Equal Access Nepal, she was involved in the radio program production on educational and Nutrition related issues named "MAMATA" for 26 episodes; closely worked with partner radio stations on local language programming on educational and nutrition related issues. Before joining Equal Access Nepal she had worked @ Gadhimai FM 91.4 MHz- Parsa Birgunj for more than three years. She worked for news reporting, news reading, and program production on education, health and youth issues. She has master's degree in Political Science and M.A. running in Sociology and Anthropology.
