The government estimates that every day, 600 young people leave Nepal in search of work abroad. Lack of opportunities cause frustration, social confusion, and hopelessness. To address these challenges, Saathi Sanga Manka Kura producers created the spin-off program Kamka Kura, a 30-minute program that disseminates information regarding livelihood issues designed to work like a distance-learning course in identifying, preparing for, participating in, and benefiting from locally available skills training programs. Youth learn how to seize available opportunities through through formats including drama, informal chats, interviews, success stories, features, reports, and letters.
