Since its launch in June 2006, this 30-minute program has tracked the changing political context and progress of the ‘New Nepal’ that is still in the transition process to democracy after a decade-long armed conflict and abolition of the monarchy in April 2007.
Two Naya Nepal
programs are produced, one in Nepali in Kathmandu, and seven in different local languages to target rural populations who do not speak Nepali.
The main target groups of the program are youth and adult rural populations.
